Shipping

We charge a $99.00 installation fee for any frame delivery (without a mattress). If you simply want curbside delivery, it is free anywhere in the country. If you live within our delivery bounds we can deliver next day.

Warranty

Ortho Mattress and its partners guarantee that they will replace or repair purchaser’s wooden foundation if it is defective due to faulty workmanship or materials under the 10-year warranty window. Care

With all wooden foundations, it is important there is a center bar or wooden slats to give the foundation the necessary support. Please do not jump on the mattress or wooden foundation as this may cause the wooden foundation to splinter or break which will void the warranty.

FAQs

Do I need a wooden foundation or foundation If I have a platform bed?

If you are using a bed frame, we recommend you purchase a compatible wooden foundation or foundation. If you have a platform bed, the wooden slats on the platform can often be used in lieu of a wooden foundation or foundation. We recommend that the slats are fixed and measure 2” or less apart. If your platform bed doesn’t meet those standards, we recommend purchasing a 2” bunkie board that will provide uniform support for your mattress.

Does a mis-matched wooden foundation void your warranty?

Yes, the manufacturer's warranty on your mattress will be voided if you are supporting your mattress with a wooden foundation/foundation that is made by a non-matching manufacturer.

What should I do if my current wooden foundation is too high?

Wooden foundations come in two heights, high and low profile. If you are concerned about the total height of your bed set, look at purchasing a 5" low profile wooden foundation.
