FAQs

Will the adjustable base work with an innerspring mattress?

Our adjustable bases have been tested and are designed to work with all mattresses found on orthomattress.com

Can I change the height of the adjustable base?

The standard height of the DP100 Adjustable Base from floor to the deck is 15.5". The base comes with 4 other height options (3.5", 6.5", 9.5" and 12.5") that you can choose upon installation. If you wish to make the base even higher, you can add 3" extensions (purchased separately).

What is the purpose of the zero gravity position?

The Zero Gravity position is intended to mimic the position astronauts use during blast-off. The position is designed to decrease stress on the astronaut's body as they leave the earth's atmosphere. The position decreases pressure on the lower back and improves blood circulation by placing the head and foot above the heart.

Great Feel

"Fantastic Bef!!!"

— Afsaneh L. (5/5)

Adjustable bed frame

"Where has this bed frame been all my life? I wondered whether something like this would be worthwhile buying but now that I have it, I realize all the great benefits of owning one. I love the various positions it offers like the anti-snoring position and zero gravity. And it's so great to be able to lift the head of the bed while you read, which prevents neck strain. I would never go back to a regular frame. The delivery and setup process was fast and professional. And it's also worthwhile mentioning the great experience when I bought it - David was super professional and the advice he gave was fair and unbiased. I highly recommend Ortho and this bed frame."
